Quickanomics discovers source material and groups related developments. Codex inspects the reports and writes original journalistic articles at Simple, Standard and In-depth. Each depth retains the material findings and conditions; the language and explanation change. Source packets contain original factual notes and limited evidence excerpts, with the original report cited. Automated checks compare source quotes, numerical values, claim references and shared qualifications. An editorial review is required before publication.
AI drafts are fallible. Schema checks cannot prove factual accuracy or causal claims. Each published explanation links to the original sources and exposes the evidence for its major claims. Corrections are recorded as new versions.
Published write-ups receive AI source and prose review. They have not received human editorial review. Automated checks support that review but cannot replace it. Earlier article and source versions are kept when a write-up is expanded or corrected. OpenRouter is used for reader questions, not article writing.
Government releases reflect the issuing institution’s account. Repeated or syndicated reporting is not independent confirmation. We show disagreements only when the source material supports them.

Publisher’s reuse termsECB institutional press-release information reused accurately with attribution; explanations are adapted, not endorsed. Named-author works and third-party materials excluded. Source information is available free from the ECB.
Publisher’s reuse termsRSS only: unchanged attributed headlines and direct links for non-commercial use. No advertising, transformation or intermediate article pages. Disable before commercial use until licensed.
Publisher’s reuse termsCoverage includes official economic releases and original write-ups drawing on the Gleaner, the Observer, Radio Jamaica and Our Today. Trade and technology reports also draw on WTO and company announcements, with issuer claims attributed. The original report is linked prominently on every article.
Full publisher articles are not republished. Original factual summaries and limited evidence excerpts do not grant permission to reuse a publisher’s photographs. Our photographs have separate licenses. Additional Observer feed headlines appear unchanged and link directly to the publisher under its non-commercial RSS terms. The current service has no ads or paid access. Automatic feeds and curated write-ups are separate ingestion paths; new drafts require review.
Canonical concepts provide reviewed educational explanations. Article-specific overlays connect them to the development you’re reading. Models are deterministic educational tools: they calculate from your inputs and show their assumptions. Every figure is hypothetical unless explicitly sourced as reporting.
This is an educational news service. It does not recommend investments or forecast markets.
When a published explanation is corrected, we publish a new version rather than editing silently. The article carries a correction note beneath its headline, and the story timeline records the change.
You can read without signing in. Email sign-in uses Resend to send a one-time link. Google sign-in stores your name, email, profile photo and account connection. Both create a persistent session. Optional passkeys store a public credential; your private key and biometric data remain with your device or password manager. Saved articles, follows, concepts, reading preferences and history belong to your account. You can clear history or delete your account in preferences.
Article questions are sent to OpenRouter with the relevant source material, without your account identity. Question text is not retained in the app; a hash and the generated answer may be cached. Do not include private information in questions. Google, Resend, Vercel, Neon and OpenRouter process the data needed to provide their services.
No advertising or third-party analytics trackers. Optional clarity feedback is off by default; when you choose to submit it, we store only article, rating and day. Operational records help detect failures and enforce limits. No streaks, leaderboards or engagement targeting.
Codex researches and visually reviews each story’s photograph against the reporting. Jamaican stories use relevant Jamaican photographs or location-neutral technical close-ups. Captions name the actual subject, place and archive date. File photos do not show the current event. Images are resized; crops preserve essential context.
Our Jamaican photo sources include separately licensed photographs on Wikimedia Commons. Each file’s individual reuse terms apply. The JIS Photo Unit is another Jamaican archive; its photos require explicit reuse rights before publication here. A news citation does not license its photographs.
